Fairy House Craft

Fairy House Craft

Very Easy craft with the kids!  All we did was use an aluminum foil cooking tin (although any container will work)...
Fill with dirt, added some moss and some grass/plants.
Then we built the house..
Materials can vary, but we started with a card board box and cut in windows and a door, from there we added the twigs along the outside, and some bark for the roof. Inside we covered a small block of wood with grass and a pine cone with grass to create the bed. Used bark and twigs to make the tables, and other natural things from outside (black walnuts and twigs for the chairs, some small twigs for shelves, etc)..
The best part is going outside and finding what you have to make it personally to you and your children.
Finished with some rocks and sand (even created a little "fire pit" and sitting area for the "fairy").

Try to keep it as nature friend as possible! Think Tinkerbell as a tinker.. aside from some hot glue, of course!

Recycled Necklace

Recycled Necklace

Very simple to make!!!

Things you need:
old jewelry pieces or charms
thin wire or even paper clips work
a necklace chain
wire cutter and pliers

Be creative and start piecing together some old jewelry to make new jewelry!
I made this one for my mother for Mother's Day. The three blue stones happened to be the birthstones of her three grandchildren and my oldest daughter picked out the heart. I used paperclips cut to size to piece the pieces together!
